Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

Last updated 24 October 2026

Our target

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. Body text goes further and meets the stricter AAA contrast level.

We are testing the site against this target before launch. This statement will be updated with the result.

This statement covers publishingrebel.com.

What we have built in

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone. Focus is always visible, and a “Skip to main content” link comes first.
  • Text and controls meet the contrast minimums, and colour is never the only way something is shown.
  • Text sizes follow your browser settings, and pages reflow to one column when you zoom in, with no sideways scrolling.
  • Every form field has a visible label. Errors say how to fix them and are listed at the top of the form.
  • Buttons and links are at least 48 by 48 pixels, so they are easy to tap.
  • Motion is kept small. If you turn on reduced motion, nothing animates.
  • Our forms never ask you to solve a puzzle to prove you are human.

How we test

Automated checks with axe-core run on every page whenever the site changes. Before launch and after major changes, we also test by hand: keyboard only, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, 200% and 400% zoom, and reduced motion.

Known limitations

  • The concept site previews in our Work gallery are screenshots of example home pages, with a text description. To use one, open it in the concept viewer or full screen, where every link and button works.
